my friend janice, who i met and worked with in san fran, has had an eventful few weeks.

1. she got engaged to jim, who she was dating for 1 year, but had known for 5.
2. she got laid off from old navy. :(
3. jim's job shipped him off to london for 4 months, but gave him a stipend to pay for janice's visits. :)
   
4. she & i got together in london last week -- i hadn't seen her in over 1 year. crazy that we ended up having a hot chocolate on regent street, a 12 hour flight from her home -- and 7 from mine.
