there's an app on facebook that has you choose top 5 lists - and share them with your friends. there are various categories; i chose to fill out the three that i was most passionate about from the batch they offered. here goes...
albums (the art of the full album has been lost. it is unfortunate.)
beer (i had never liked beer until my pops moved to belgium. beer is wonderful there.)
tv shows (i spent and spend much time in front of the tube. law & order marathon - sold!)

my new toy

i had wanted to get a nice camera for awhile now. ya know - SLR with fancy lens and quick shutter speed - ability to play with aperture (blurriness) -- the whole sha-bang. so, i got one. Nikon d80. don't quite know how to use it yet - but here are some shots i took this weekend in miami, as i learn.

a train pulls in

i shot this on wednesday evening. there is something interesting about the emergence of the train from the tunnel i feel. this weekend, i'm gonna figure out how to use iMovie so i can cut this to music. but for now - enjoy the soothing screech of the metal from the MTA's F train.

My good friend Dustin, a super photographer, set up his new concept STUDIO BOOTH at the latest My Favorite Things party. The deal is: he sets up a cool space - and gives you a prop to get creative with - in this case, a very large PUMA Clyde sneaker. The photos are great quality. Here are a couple of shots I concocted.
